HSEQ

At A. Olufsen Ship & Offshore, health, safety, and environmental protection are central to everything we do. Our HSE commitment goes beyond legal compliance; it is about fostering a safe, healthy, and sustainable workplace for our employees, partners, and clients worldwide.

With a dedicated Quality and HSE Engineer, we maintain rigorous procedures, up-to-date risk assessments, and tailored safety measures for every project in shipbuilding, offshore, and maritime industries.

Our approach to HSE management includes:

  • Continuous improvement and training programs

  • Open dialogue to encourage safety awareness

  • Proactive risk reduction and injury prevention

  • Environmental protection as a core operational priority

We apply the same strict HSE standards to our subcontractors, ensuring that all operations meet the highest levels of safety and reliability.

As an ISO 9001:2015 certified company, we track, document, and evaluate our performance to guarantee compliance with both current and evolving industry requirements. This commitment enables us to deliver safe, efficient, and environmentally responsible solutions across the global maritime and offshore sectors.

Expectations for Our Subcontractors – ESG

We expect our subcontractors to commit to adhering to relevant ethical, environmental, and social standards (ESG) in their operations. This includes, but is not limited to:

Environmental: Subcontractors are expected to actively work towards reducing their environmental footprint, including energy consumption, waste management, and emissions. Sustainable material choices and resource efficiency should also be prioritized.

Social: We expect subcontractors to ensure fair labour conditions, including fair wages, safe working environments, and diverse, inclusive workplaces. Respecting human rights and avoiding discrimination are also essential.

Governance: Ethical governance, transparency, and accountability are fundamental. Subcontractors must operate in compliance with laws and regulations, maintaining high standards of anti-corruption and adhering to both local and international standards.

Subcontractors are expected to report any breaches they observe within their own supply chain. Additionally, subcontractors must agree to potential audits and inspections by us as we deem necessary.
